From the end of July to August 2021, I stay in Osaka while moving from one hotel to another there. Here are some accommodations I have stayed in Osaka so far. I have stayed at the same accommodation several times, but the duplicated content has been cut.

It is a few minutes walk from Sakaisuji Hommachi Station on the Osaka Subway. Located in the center of Osaka’s business district, this hotel is recommended for business people.

I stayed here for seven nights.

The room was a bit old, but it was clean and reasonably large so I didn’t really care about it. However, there is only one outlet, and if you use a table lamp, it will be filled with just that. I expect improvement.

It is a few minutes walk from Nagahoribashi Station and Shinsaibashi Station on the Osaka Subway. It is one of the convenient hotels for sightseeing in the downtown area around Shinsaibashi. There is a manga library on the first floor, and guests can rent manga for free and read it in the room.

I stayed here for three nights.

I booked a single room and it was a great deal because it was upgraded to a double room for free.

It is located right in front of Namba Station on the Osaka Subway. A few minutes walk from Namba Station on the Osaka Nankai Railway, this hotel has excellent transportation access. It is one of the convenient hotels for sightseeing in the downtown area of Osaka Minami.

I stayed here for seven nights.

It may have been a corona illness and there was a long-term discount, but I was able to stay at the lowest price in a private room among the hotels I have stayed at so far. I booked it in a single room and it was upgraded to a semi-double for free, so it was a great deal.

It is a few minutes walk from Namba Station on the Osaka Nankai Railway. Located on the main street of the electric town called Denden Town in Osaka Nipponbashi, it is in an extremely convenient location.

I stayed here for one night.

The hotel seemed to be new and the hotel was pretty clean. It was a double room that could accommodate two adults, and the room was quite spacious, with plenty of space to spread the suitcase. The floor is quite air-conditioned, so I didn’t have to turn on the air conditioner in the room, so I was able to spend my time comfortably. The room I stayed in had shower room. I wouldn’t complain if I had a bathtub.

It is a few minutes walk from Kintetsu Nippombashi and Osaka Subway Nippombashi Station. It was very convenient because it was very close to the tourist spot Kuromon Market and there were Gyomu supermarkets(reasonable price supermarkets) and convenience stores nearby.

I stayed here for one night.

It was more like a guest house than a hotel that was remodeled from a private house into an accommodation facility. I can’t complain too much because it’s this price for 2 adults, but there were some unfortunate points compared to other hotels.

for example,

• Unmanned with no front desk. All self-service
• No elevator, only stairs
• The toilet is not a shower toilet
• The wall is thin

That is the point.

There was no LAN connection, only WiFi. When I measured it at check-in, it was fast and there was no problem, but at night it suddenly slowed down and I couldn’t connect to the internet. Since the number of guests was small, I don’t think it’s a problem with the number of lines, but I think there was something wrong with the other SSIDs as they couldn’t connect externally.

It is a few minutes walk from Kintetsu Nippombashi and Osaka Subway Nippombashi Station. It is convenient for sightseeing because it is located in Dotonbori, a downtown area of Osaka Minami.

I stayed here for one night.

The lobby was quite large and there was a relaxing space, so I was able to spend a comfortable time until check-in. The room was large and clean, and the bed was big and comfortable. There is a restaurant on the top floor, and after check-in, it was nice to be able to enjoy the view of Dotonbori while drinking a free drink bar. However, the only drawback was that the table and sofa were fixed and the distance between them was narrow.

I stayed here for one night.

I stayed alone, but this was same price even if I stayed for 2 adult. The inside of the building and the room seemed a little old, but the room was large, clean and comfortable. It was nice to have a relaxing working space and free coffee service in the lobby on the first floor.

There was also a wired LAN, but for some reason the speed of the wired LAN at this hotel was much slower than WiFi, and sometimes I couldn’t connect to the internet.

WiFi speed was fine at the time of measurement, but it was a little late at night, The number of internet lines may be small.

It is a few minutes walk from JR Fukushima Station. It is a little far from JR Osaka Station, Osaka Subway, Hanshin Electric Railway, and Hankyu Electric Railway stations, but it is within walking distance, so transportation access is good.

I stayed here for one night.

The lobby was luxurious with a chandelier and there was also a space to relax, so it was nice to arrive before check-in. The rooms at APA Hotel are often cramped, but it was nice that the room was relatively spacious and there was plenty of space around the desk.

It is a few minutes walk from Osaka Subway Shin-Osaka Station and JR Shin-Osaka Station. There are many restaurants inside JR Shin-Osaka Station, so it is in a convenient location where you don’t have to worry about eating.

Check-in was at 2:00 pm and check-out was at 12:00 am, which was a great deal as we could stay longer than other hotels.

There are desks and chairs that make it easy to work on a PC, and all the facilities such as laundry are available. In the lobby on the first floor, you can drink free coffee and craft beer (although there is a charge), so it was a comfortable hotel.

It is a few minutes walk from Hankyu Minamikata Station and Nishinakajima Minamikata Station on the Osaka Subway. It is one station from Shin-Osaka station, and it is a quiet location with few people and cars. With Yodogawa River Park nearby, this hotel is suitable for those who want to take a walk or exercise during their stay.

I stayed here for one night.

The room was large and comfortable because it was a room for two adults. There was no adjacent building, and I could see the city of Umeda over the Yodo River from the window, and the view was good.

It is a 1 minute walk from Imamiyaebisu Station on the Nankai Railway. There is nothing in particular around the hotel, but It is also located between Osaka Nipponbashi and Tsutenkaku, close to Osaka Subway Ebisucho Station and Daikokucho Station, so it is in a convenient location.

I stayed here for one night.

It seems that the hotel was popular with Chinese tourists before COVID-19 pandemic. The price was cheaper than the hotels in the surrounding area due to the situation of COVID-19. The rooms were large and clean, with the best air conditioning and finely tuned air conditioning. It was good value for money.

You can do PC work in the dining space on the first floor. However, there was no laundry, so you should use the nearby coin laundry.

The internet was WiFi only. The WiFi speed wasn’t slow or fast. I didn’t have any problem when working normal PC work.

It is next to JR Shin-Imamiya Station. Being next to the JR station, you can hear the train running and the station announcements all the time. There is a super-discount Super Tamade near this hotel, and it is a convenient location where you can buy lunch boxes and side dishes at a low price.

I stayed here for one night.

It was a small room with a single bed in a space of 3 tatami mats. It has a peculiar smell, so it may be a little tough for those who are not good at it. There is a TV and air conditioner, and the room is clean, so if you get used to it, there is no problem. The biggest merit here is that there is a big bath on the roof.

The internet was only WiFi, but it was good because it had security and the speed was as high as 144Mbps. However, the connection was sometimes interrupted, probably because there were many connections from each room.

It is located near the exit of Crysta Nagahori, an underground shopping mall, just outside Nagahoribashi Station on the Osaka Subway. The hotel has excellent transportation access as you can walk to the Osaka subway station in various directions from the underground shopping mall Crysta Nagahori.

I stayed here for one night.

Check-in was at 2:00 pm and check-out was at 12:00 am, which was a great deal as we could stay longer than other hotels. In addition, there is a free coffee service in the lobby on the first floor, and a comic booth on the second floor where you can freely read popular manga, so you could spend a comfortable time in the hotel even on a rainy day.

This was only WiFi, not LAN. It was a pity that WiFi was also unsecured. I am satisfied with the WiFi speed because I was able to upload videos without any problems.

It is about a 2-minute walk from Hommachi Station on the Osaka Subway. It was quiet and comfortable even though it had good transportation access because it was located in an alley from the main street.

I stayed here for one night.

It was a semi-double room that could accommodate 2 adults, but it was a bit small for 2 people. The layout around the desk is easy to use, so it is a recommended room for business use and working alone on a PC.

It’s a small detail, it might be rare case to experience it, I could see the brown wire as if the heating wire (?) In the electric kettle had emerged, which made me feel a little uncomfortable.

I stayed in a twin room alone. The room was large enough for two adults to spend comfortably, and the desk area was large and comfortable.

I stayed here for one night.

There are desks and chairs that are easy to work on a PC, and there is a space between them and the bed, so there was no feeling of oppression and I was able to spend comfortably. The TV was pretty big and it felt good to watch while sleeping in bed.

It is about a 2-minute walk from Osaka Subway Dobutsuen-mae Station. It’s located in Nishinari, Doya Street, not safety area in Osaka, but it’s close to the main street and the train station is right next to it, so there’s no particular problem with security.

I stayed here for one night.

The room was a Japanese-style room. The room was quite large, and it seems that it was originally a twin room with two single beds side by side. Even so, there was still space for the suitcases to be spread out, and when staying in a single room for one person, there was a fairly spacious space. All the facilities were fully equipped, and towels and bath towels were changed every day even if you stay consecutive nights, so the service is excellent. However, the front desk is from 3 pm to 10 pm, the rest of the time is unmanned, and support is provided through SNS.

I stayed here for one night.

The room was a single room and not very large and the facilities were minimal, but it was clean and reasonably good.

There was no LAN terminal, so it was only WiFi. The WiFi speed was perfect, but it wasn’t secure, so it’s tough for business purposes.

It is about a 5-minute walk from Daikoku-cho Station on the Osaka Subway. The surrounding area is a residential area, but it was conveniently located with a convenience store on the first floor of the hotel and many restaurants in the vicinity.

I stayed here for one night.

The room was a style called Condotel, which is a room in an apartment rather than a hotel. I booked a single room, but the room was large and comfortable enough for families. There is a kitchen so you can cook easily, but there were no utensils or tableware. It may have been rented for a fee.

The internet was a drawback here. Even with a LAN connection, it never exceeded 10 Mbps, and the upload speed was only a few Mbps, which was quite stressful. Especially at night time, the upload speed was only around 1Mbps, probably because there were many users and few lines. It was OK if you just watch the YouTube video.

It is located right next to Kitahama Station on the Osaka Subway, about a 1-minute walk. The hotel name says Yodoya Bridge, but Kitahama Station is closer. Located in the center of Osaka’s business district, this hotel is recommended for business people.

I stayed here for one night.

The room was a bit small, but it may be due to the fact that the bed was a little big in the double room. The chair was comfortable to sit in, but It was a little disappointing that there was no backrest. It may have been so to secure the size of the room.

The internet was comfortable with both LAN and WiFi connections fast enough. In particular, the upload speed for LAN connection was over 300 Mbps, so I was able to upload videos without stress.

There is a supermarket that sells prepared foods and lunch boxes at a reasonable price just outside the station, so it is a convenient place for long-term stays.

It was a single room, but the room was large and well equipped and comfortable.

On the Internet, the download speed of WiFi was not good, but it is OK because it is at a practical level. With a LAN connection, both upload and download exceeded 100 Mbps, and I was able to work comfortably.

I stayed here for one night.

It was a single room, but the room was large and well equipped and comfortable. There are cafes, supermarkets, and reasonably priced side dish shops around Kitahama Station on the Osaka Subway, so it’s very convenient. This hotel is recommended for long-term stays such as business trips for office workers.

It is about a 5-minute walk from Sakaisuji Hommachi Station and Tanimachi 4-chome Station on the Osaka Subway. Located at the intersection of the Hanshin Expressway and National Highway No. 1, it is a busy point. It’s a hostel within walking distance from Osaka Castle, and it feels like an accommodation facility for tourists who want to keep their accommodation costs down while sightseeing in Osaka.

I stayed here for one night.

Toilets and showers were shared single rooms. Because it is a hostel, it was simple and not as comfortable as other business hotels. In particular, I was worried that the noise of the indoor ventilation fan was noisy. The chair was also made of plastic and was hard and uncomfortable to sit on, so it was difficult to work here for a long time. However, there are shared workspaces on the first and top floors, so you can work there.

In addition, check-in time was late at 4 pm, check-out was early at 10 am, and it was inconvenient for me to stay for a short time. Moreover, it was a time-sensitive hostel, with an extension fee of 1,000 yen being charged if it was delayed by 10 minutes.

The most dissatisfied thing about this hostel was the slow WiFi speed. There is no LAN terminal, only WiFi. WiFi is shared on each floor, and it doesn’t seem to be a high-speed line, and it never exceeded 2Mbps when measured anytime. It was impossible to upload the video, and the video playback was quite difficult.

It is about a 2-minute walk from Sakaisuji Hommachi Station and Hommachi Station on the Osaka Subway. Located in the center of Osaka’s business district, this hotel is recommended for business people.

I stayed here for one night.

It was a double room that could accommodate 2 adults and was spacious and comfortable. Especially, it was good that the bathtub in the bathroom was big enough to lie down. The exterior is luxurious like a luxury condominium, and despite being in the business district of Osaka, you can enjoy the resort feeling and the atmosphere was good. The amenities are lined up in the lobby, and the style is to bring only what you need to the room, and I feel that they are working to reduce unnecessary costs. In fact, I stayed at a cheaper price than the hotels in the area.

However, according to the notice posted in the hall, it is unfortunate that this hotel will be closed this month.

It is about a 2-minute walk from JR Shin-Imamiya Station and Osaka Subway Dobutsuen-mae Station. It’s located in Nishinari, Doya Street, not safety area in Osaka, but it faces the main street and the train station is right next to it, so there is no problem with security. It is convenient because it is close to the popular supermarket Tamade at a super-discount price.

I stayed here for one night.

The room was a Japanese-style room. There was only 3 tatami mats, but the room was clean and nice with facilities such as TV, refrigerator and air conditioner. There is no soundproofing, so you can hear it when the next person makes a loud voice on the phone. As for amenities, I had a toothbrush and a small towel, but I was a little disappointed that the bath towel was rented for a fee.

Toilets and showers are shared. It was beautiful and there were enough, so I’m not particularly dissatisfied. In addition, I was comfortable because I could use the large communal bath of the affiliated store next door.

There was a comfortable space where you could work on your PC not only in the room but also in the living space on the first floor.

There was no LAN terminal, so only WiFi. However, the WiFi speed is explosive, and both download and upload are over 100 Mbps, which is the highest speed I have ever experienced.

It is right next to Nippombashi Station on the Osaka Subway. Located in Dotonbori, the downtown area of Osaka Minami, you can walk anywhere in Osaka Minami, so the location is excellent.

I stayed here for one night.

The hotel is quite luxurious and it is quite cheap to stay at this rate even if it is under COVID-19 situation.

However, the room was a little small. It was a bit cramped because there was no luggage space and I couldn’t put the chair back too much due to desk work. Other than that, I was comfortable, so it was a great deal to stay at this rate.

It was fast with LAN connection, but WiFi speed was less than 10Mbps. However, there was no problem with the YouTube video and there was no clutter, so it was fast enough.

It is a few minutes walk from Nankai Namba Station. Located along the Nankai Railway, right in the center of Osaka Nihonbashi, a city of Otaku in the west, it is conveniently located within walking distance of anywhere in Minami, Osaka. It is convenient because there is an entrance to Namba Parks right after you exit the entrance.

I stayed here for one night.

The room was a Japanese-style room. It was spacious and clean, and there was a washbasin in the room, so I was able to spend a comfortable time. There are plenty of amenities such as bath towels and toothbrushes, so there is no problem. The front desk was unmanned self-service, partly because of the COVID-19 situation.

Toilets and showers are shared. There was only one toilet on each floor and one shower on the first floor for men and women, so the number was small. Another drawback was that there was no elevator.

I stayed at this cheap rate because there are few guests at this hotel due to the COVID-19.
